Information and Communication Technologies, also known as ICT, are technologies that provide ways to access information. This includes the Internet, wireless networks, cell phones, and other communication mediums.
It is the use of computers to store, transmit, retrieve, manipulate data and information, to process and communicate information.
This technologies are used in a lot of ways in different areas as the main purpose of it is to “ surf the internet”. Some examples of it are in school (to search information and data), bussiness (to process and communicate information) and even in your house (cellphones and other communication mediums).
Information and communication technology is almost worldwide, almost everyone use it. You, right now reading this, are using an ICT. Most people use it to surf the internet and to communicate with other people, but there is so much more you can do integrating technology in your live, e.j: to provide professional development opportunities, to share things with people, to accumulate knowledge, to inform, etc.
The ICT is everywhere.
